스트렛포드 갤러리 기차역을 개조해서 만들다. 1883-1964 이곳 문화예술위원회가 도맡다. 

Gallery Stratford is a leading visual arts destination and an important cultural resource for the Stratford community and the counties of Perth and Huron. 

[History] Built in 1883 on the banks of the Avon River, Gallery Stratford is located in Stratford’s former historical pump house. By 1964, the historic building became obsolete when the Stratford Public Utilities Commission opened a new pump house across the street. At one point there was even a possibility that the buildings would be demolished. The Stratford Art Society (founded in 1945) prepared a feasibility plan to convert the buildings into an art gallery. 

In 1966, the Stratford Art Society became known as the Stratford Art Association and its director was Robert Ihrig. With receipt of financial backing in 1967 from Rothman’s Pall Mall of Canada Limited, The Stratford Art Association renovated and opened the doors of the Rothman Art Gallery. 

The Rothman Art Gallery was an active cultural centre for the region, with exhibitions by Canadian and International artists. In partnership with the Stratford Festival, a ‘Music at Midnight’ series flourished at the Rothman Art Gallery from 1969 until 1976; presenting unscheduled appearances by guest musicians and chamber concerts by members of the resident Festival orchestra. 

By 1974, Rothman’s underwent internal organizational changes that altered the way the company supported the arts. Rothmans eventually removed themselves from this project, but they left a legacy of more than a million dollars to renovate the art gallery. Withdrawal of Rothman’s sponsorship resulted in the gallery’s renaming – Gallery Stratford. 

In 1985, Gallery Stratford’s unique architectural exterior was recognized by City of Stratford, designating it a Heritage Building. Over its 40 year history, Gallery Stratford has established itself as one of the region’s leading public art galleries, organizing and presenting exhibitions by regional, national, and international visual artists. This solo exhibition by Stratford artist Jack Winn is comprised of large-scale structural impressionist paintings that use current mathematical theories in astrophysics and quantum chromodynamics to explore the deep mysteries of our universe, life, and time/infinity. 

The work depicts the beginnings of our universe, the mysterious forces of dark matter, and the miraculous existence of faster than the speed of light neutrinos. Winn uses a combination of automotive, oil, and acrylic paints to create a surface that appears both wet and dry. 

The viscosity of the automotive paint contrasts with the rich black oils, highlighting the play between neutrinos and dark matter as small dots of paint blink in and out like extinguishing and birthing stars. Referencing the mathematics underpinning nuclear fission, fusion, Pi, and M-Theory, this work grapples with the profound concepts of our creation and the reasons for our consciousness.

Toronto-based Jason Schwartz is an author and photographer. He penned the book "The Ghosts That Haunt Us" and his photography exhibit, Portraits of Holocaust Survivors, has been seen all over North America. Most recently, his photography exhibit was at TheMUSEUM in Kitchener and Gallery Stratford.

Avon River 근처의 고인의 가족이 기부하면 시에서 그 사람의 이름이 들어가는 벤치를 이렇게 만들어준다 

주말에 열리는 작은 아트시장의 풍경이다 여기서 주말마다 작은 미술시장에 열린다.

캐나다에서 만난 화가 Taffany Horrocks 그녀는 그림도 그리지만 주말에 직접 그림도 판매한다 

I met by chance a painter Taffany Horrocks in Stafford city in Canada. Then she also sell directly her paintings outdoor art market every weekend. J'ai rencontré par hasard une peintre Taffany Horrocks à Stafford ville au Canada. Puis elle vend aussi directement ses peintures au marché de l'art en plein air chaque week-end.
